I got a kitty last weekend, absolutely adorable. Sometimes she’s a bundle of energy thats hard to control (yet very ammusing), but most of the time she’s just darling. She’s got the best temper out of any cat I’ve been aorund. I had wanted a kitty on and off my whole life ever since my first pet (calico cat nammed cutie-pie) ran away. My mom ws against it since I got a dog. But now that I’m out of the house, and the dog is staying with her to keep her company it has been on my mind to get one. A couple months ago I let go of the idea that I would have a cat (for a couple of reasons). until …
This cat showed up without a collar at my friend’s apartment. My friend was keeping the cat while hey looked for her owner but had no luck. My friend’s roommate has 2 new kittens before this one showed up, so the 2 room apartment got full very fast. Since my friend was starting to feel like the little old cat lady, and since her roommate didnt like having the extra cat around her “babies” she decided that she had to do something about it. Her option was to drop her off at the shelter. Well, I asked my friend all about the cat, you knwo her temper, behavior, bad habits, etc. and there seemed to be no problems. So I asked her if I could take her and here she is. My roommate loves her as well which I think is just wonderful.
If her owner shows up, then I would be happy to have her back to her family, but until them her name is Callie (for calico) and we’re hanging out. I’ll post a picture as soon as I get one. This weekend we’re going home and gonna show her to my mom and my dog.
